Principal Tax Advisor - Perth

Responsibilities
-  Taxation aspects of capital management, funding dividend repatriation etc;
-  Taxation aspects of Mergers, Acquisitions, Divestments and   Due Diligence etc;
-  Australian income tax consolidation and entities not assigned to regional teams
    (e.g. Singapore, UK, BMSA etc.);
-   Calculations, lodgements, forecasts and business partnering for corporate entities,
 -  Proactively managing Australian tax authority relationships and provide governance for
    other tax authority relationships;
-  Tax Audits/ Litigation and implementing governance frameworks;
-  Policy Influencing (International and national focus);
-  Risk strategies, monitoring and reporting
-  Group Forecasting (including franking); and
-  Effective Tax Rate and Competitor Analysis

Experience and Qualifications:
-  5+ years experience providing tax compliance & advice in a CA firm or large corporate
-  A degree in Commerce, Accounting or Law
-  Excellent problem solving, uses logic and methods to solve problems with effective solutions
-  Sound time management – able to complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner
-  Tax accounting (IFRS) knowledge and good understanding of accounting principles
-  Mining industry experience would be an advantage
