Our client is looking for talented tax advisory accountants who are ready to step up to the next level in their career. This position is with a top tier accounting practice that has plans to grow and enhance their current tax teams. They are seeking individuals with a track record of success and an entrepreneurial mindset to develop the Australian Tax team skill profile.
Responsibilities:
• Involved in assisting large scale, leading organisations to structure tax transactions including tax risk and ensuring compliance with tax relating laws to the highest level.
• Provision of advise as required for tax law
• The planning and structuring of tax related ideas
• Control and delivery of tax accounting, reconciliations and other tax related activities for financial statements
• Provision of Income and FBT returns, BAS and other ad-hoc tax centric duties.
• Due to your level of seniority an involvement in the training, development, supervision and mentoring of junior staff will be an essential part of your position.
The ideal candidate:
• A number of years experience with Australian tax with relevant qualifications to match.
• Experience gained in a corporate, legal or business environment with preference towards accounting practice.
• Excellent levels of communication ability (verbally and orally)
• Proven skills with relationship building at all levels.
