Tax & Finance Manager – In-house – Sydney

• St Leonards location – right by the train station
• Variety of tax issues - high level project work
• Systems and finance exposure

 Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager you will be responsible for advising the business units on a variety of tax matters, systems requirements and the impact on finance

• Systems project work for GST and income tax
• Providing high level tax advice using external advisors as required
• Tax compliance, tax returns, and tax effect accounting
• Researching and advising on changing tax legislation
• Advising Senior Management on a wide range of issues

 Experience and Qualifications:

• Relevant tertiary studies including CA/CPA qualified
• Masters in Tax or working towards highly regarded
• 5+ years tax experience working within the tax division of a large accountancy practice and/ or large corporate with both a tax and finance background
• Strong tax knowledge and systems focussed experience
• High level communication, influencing skills, and stakeholder management abilities are essential
• Broad finance background is highly desirable
• Able and willing to become a registered tax agent
